Introduction

Welcome to Sulam, a mobile application designed to help users manage personal finances, including payment tracking, loan calculations, budgeting tools, visual analytics, and premium features. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sulam Tech LLC, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the App.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• The App is currently intended for users in supported regions, including Oman, UAE, and other Middle Eastern countries.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, PIN, and biometric access.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account if we detect violations, fraudulent behavior, or security risks.

2. License Grant and Intellectual Property

• Sulam grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the App.
• All content, software, designs, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned exclusively by Sulam Tech LLC.

3. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or financial crimes
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with the security or performance of the App
• Use the App in any manner inconsistent with Islamic financial principles, including interest-based (riba) practices
• Violate applicable laws in Oman, UAE, or any relevant jurisdiction

Any violation may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.

4. App Features and Data Usage

• The App allows you to track personal financial data such as payments, loans, and budgets.
• Data is stored locally on your device using secure system storage.
• You retain full ownership of your data. Sulam may use anonymized and aggregated data for analytics and improvement.
• The App does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.

5. Premium Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain features require a paid subscription.
• Payments are processed securely through Apple In-App Purchases.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store account settings.
• All payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

6. Privacy and Data Security

Your privacy is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We implement encryption, PIN access, and biometric authentication. However, no system is completely secure.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate Apple services and future payment gateways. Sulam is not responsible for the availability or policies of third-party providers.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• Sulam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Maximum liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid in the previous 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Muscat.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
